Guest guest
, That's the way Dr. Kolb took care of my explant and lift...cutting fully around the areolas. The scars fade to a great degree within months. I barely even notice them anymore and my husband doesn't seem to care. Love, PH > > Thanks Rogene > Dr Feng did recommend it. Guest guest
, I don't know how she'll do it given your circumstances. Just relax though and remind yourself that she's one of the top surgeons in the country and she's done this thousands of times. Yes, my nipples are about the same size...not perfect but close enough. I'm very pleased with the results. Remember too that throughout the next several months the looks of your breasts will change as they heal. So if at first you're not satisfied realize they will change in time. That's what's so amazing to me...that the docs are so good that they can even us out. You're in good hands. I am sure she will do a fabulous job! Guest guest
I'll second that one Rogene. Looking back now i thnk i would have been just fine getting a lift and forgetting the implants but doctors will never suuggest that. > > I'd recommend a lift if one of our recommended doctors thinks you will need one. > > That's what I should have gotten in the first place - instead of implants! > > Not all women need them though. . . > > Hugs, > > Rogene >
Guest guest
, Yeah, I lost feeling in both nipples from the lift. Dr. Huang did tell me that may happen. When I had my implants inserted, I got the feeling back in both nipples but you have more of a chance of this happening with a lift from what I am told. I look so much better now though....I had the classic " rock in the sock " look.....quite unattractive! I was beyong sagging. When I had my implants put in, my PS asked me if I had gastric bybass surgery because I was soooo saggy. Told her no but I did loose 85 lbs on my own. Guest guest
, Hey girl, the count down is on! Very exciting. How are you feeling? I thought i would comment on this. I had a lift when i got my implants as well. Im really not trying to scare you but i have the same problem as Cherie. I have little to no feeling in my right nipple. The doctor had taken them off and re placed them, they have to in order to get everything lined up. Mine is not crooked like Cherie's but from day on i noticed that it does have a different appearance then the left one. The left breast could not be more perfect looking, the right breast however needed much more work. It feels tighter then the left one and the left nipple is not as smooth as the other one. When it gets cold and " the girls " come out it takes on almost like a bullet shape and gets very puffy. its not painful just very odd BUT i was told in advance that loss of sensation could be a side effect. Please do not let this deter you because you could come out of this with no complications what so ever and i think we all know that you have a phenomenal doctor working on you so i wouldn't about appearance although that is easier said then done. I will be praying for you and make sure you take it easy tomorrow but feel free to let us know how you are doing ASAP...lol > > Thanks Rogene > Dr Feng did recommend it.
