Guest guest
Hi ladies, Happy Valentine's Day!! Much love to everyone of you. First of all, thank you for all of the recommendations - without the recommendations and this board I would be clueless. Ok - I had an appt with my ND/MD today. I am pretty impressed with him (knock on wood). He asked for copies of my records from my rheumy visits, I had them faxed there on Monday. He not only reviewed my records, he actually called my rheumy to discuss my case! They both conclude that I have Unspecified Connective Tissue Disorder - so not LUPUS (yipee). Oh, and better yet - he admitted that he has seen several women with or who had breast implants with this disorder!! He does think I may be going Hyper on my thyroid and wants me to alternated 75mcg and 50mcg synthroid every other day. Right now I am on 75mcg. So, I pray for good sleep soon. I forgot to ask about the adrenals because we spent most the time discussing my Food Panal findings and Stool Sample findings. Stool Sample: No YEAST!! But I am sure that has changed as I have been on two rounds of antibiotics since I submitted the samples. Beneficial bacteria found: Lactobacilus=no growth - this is not good, but I can get it up with probiotics. Escerichia coli +4 (which meant balanced gut flora). Bifdobacterium 1+ = is also too low. Oh and no parasites or ova. Bad bacteria - Citrobacter freundii, enterobacter cloacae & citrobacter species. I have to go on a round of Cipro Antibiotics to kill these bacterias, then he wants me to use natural agents such as Berberine, Oregano, Plant Tannins, Uva-Ursi to keep them away. Food Panal: I am gluten intolerant! He ran a IgG & Immunoglobulins Report. I received a Wellness Rotary Program that outlines what I should and should not eat. I haven't read it yet but there is a lot of information including grocery lists, etc. THIS WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! It is crazy but I have an intolerance to Bananas, cheedar cheese, eggs, cow milk, wheat, turkey, tuna, all teas, white potatoes, onions, garlic, and the biggest one of all strawberries!! Level IV allergies, the highest is anything greater than 30.00 - I was 40.03 on strawberries and 34.49 on cow's milk. I hate milk but I am bummed about the strawberries and bananas. There are many other things I can't eat either but there are plenty of things I can The report I got is wonderful and will help me when I go grocery shopping. I will start the diet this weekend and let you know how it goes. Thanks to all that have led me to where I am today. Love you - BIG HUGS....
