Guest guest
Hi ... Depending on your size your could possibly drop 5 or 6 pounds a week... But to drop 44 pounds in 36 is way to much.. and I highly doubt that is possible. I have personally seen people drop 5-6 pounds a week consistantly for many months until nearing their goal weight.. but once you get close the rate of loss does slow down some. I think 20 pounds in a month is more realistic but you would have to eat only certain foods to do it.. and a lot of this will depend on what your weight is presently.. I would not like to see someone that has a starting weight of " under " 200 pounds drop this fast.. --- wrote: > > That's shorts time! LOL that's about it. Guest guest
Okay I beg to differ here... 40 pounds can most certainly be lost in a 2 month period.. I know because my sweetie did it... and you can indeed keep it off.. But your right it should be done under medical supervision but I hate to say this that it need not involve extreme workouts daily.. He just did his normal days work which happens to be very active.. --- wetbee40 wrote: > > --- , I hate to rain on your parade with > shorts weather coming, > but that cannot happen. 44 pounds can NOT be lost in > 4 weeks or 6 > weeks or 8 week or...on and on and on. > Its not fair to your body to set yourself up > for that type of > dissapointment. 1/2 to 2 pounds a wk is all the FAT > @3500 CALORIES PER > POUND, your body can burn, it just can't happen any > faster without > using muscle tissue. > Any time you see on TV that the 'contestants' > have lost alot of > weight is when they spend SEVERAL hours a day in a > gym, working out w/ > professional trainers that work them to within an > inch of their lives, > they are fed strict diets made for them by > Dietitians, and are under a > doctors supervision at all times. Guest guest
One only needs to look at the balance on the pyramid to know the correct way you should be balancing your food intake.. I am not one that believes in low carbing, I believe in the right carbs.. Just check out that purple stripe on the New Pyramid which represents " meats and beans " and see how thin it really is!!! The new pyramid also includes a figure walking up steps to remind us that exercise is an important component to health and nutrition.
