Guest guest
Thanks for sharing your story it really shows you are starting to think about what you truly enjoy and that is great. Eva Amen. Quick story from this morning: I was out for breakfast with my wife and daughter at ihop. I wanted the big steak omelet which I ordered with egg whites because I believe in 's story about getting an egg white omelet because if the fat and cholesterol in yolks don't make you enjoy it more it's just a waste. But, that's not even the real point. The omelet comes with pancakes which looked great. I always save them for last. I felt myself filling up on the omelet but thought "I really want to enjoy those pancakes" so even though I loved the omelet I stopped while I still had room to enjoy the pancakes before getting full. This thought process made me really happy. On Feb 7, 2010, at 2:38 PM, J W ELLER <jimbodog02bellsouth (DOT) net> wrote: Thank you, and Abby, for your comments! Guest guest
Kudos, ! I do that as well when we go to the IHOP, eat some of the omelet so I can eat the pancakes. Probably a pretty good combination between the protein and carbo. The rest of the omelet comes home, so I can enjoy it the next day. All the best, Jeanne

Guest guest
Great news jonathan! One thing that helps me, like Jeanne, is giving myself permission to take leftovers home. If I don't, I tend to overeat because its too good to " waste " it. With a doggy bag I eagerly look forward to being hungry again so the food will taste as good as it did when I started eating. You'd be surprised what is good as leftovers! Kudos, ! I do that as well when we go to the IHOP, eat some of the omelet so I can eat the pancakes.
