ASTEROID 2007 TU24. Near Earth Object just recently discovered.Interesting information:We are two days away from this 400m asteroid coming within the same distance between the earth and the moon....buckle in, this could get REAL interesting.

On January 29, 2008, Asteroid TU24 will come witin 500,000 Km from Earth.Discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey, Arizona on October 11, 2007. Imaging radar has estimated that this asteroid is 250 meters in diameter.[1] This object's 1.4418-lunar distance approach on January 29, 2008 at 08.33 UTC is the closest for any known potentially hazardous asteroid until 2027.[4] The apparent magnitude will be 10.3 when it is closest to us[5], which means the naked eye can not detect it. NASA has completely ruled out any Earth impact possibility for at least the next 100 years.[10]
