Guest guest
Gummy Bear Silicone Implant, that has been cut..... a note from one doctor: Gummy bear implants are composed of “exactly the same ingredients as standard [silicone] gel. They just put more ‘cross-linker’ into it, so the molecules bond to each other more and it creates a more form-stable shape,†according to Dr. Teitelbaum. And, even if these cohesive gel implants do rupture, the silicone will not leak out. More research is needed to see if silicone being in contact with the body will cause harm to the patient in any way. All breast implants including saline have a silicone shell. It may be possible that silicone can diffuse into the body over time, but the long-term effects are unknown. http://www.drteitelbaum.com/cohesivebreastimplants.html Ya know, even if they dont ooze out of the shell, and migrate in the same manner as the sticky oozing silicone gel did, it is still going to fleck off, or degrade as they call it, and roam the entire body ! ! There is still numerous toxic chemicals that make up the silicone, and since there is more platinum crosslinker in it to make it thicker, then I would have to say that they are MORE toxic than the older models ! !
