Lynn,

I thought your work was very close to where the lines started.

The man who was killed was just 5 miles from my hours and probably

pretty close to your office. (2-3 miles away)

I am glad your home is ok, cars can be replaced. As long as the

people and the pets are safe, that is what truly counts.

I missed you on the news, but since you looked horrible, maybe that

is a good thing.

So sorry you had to go through all of this, it must have been very frightening.

Hi Lynda,

If you watch any of the news clips (CNN, 9News.com, ) of the

actual tornado video it shows it cross HWY 34 and directly hit Swift

and then State Farm is the next set of buidlings that took a direct

hit. Swift Conagra lost part of their roof. We lost many windows and

there is structural damage - not sure when we can go back to SF.

Glad the buildings held up or the life and injury count would have

been much higher - there are thousands that work in our 3

buildings.

Many of the employees have questioned why they put our new buildings

in the middle of a field! It is only 6 minutes from Windsor, so nice

for me but not good for weather!

Yes, the man that got killed was about 1 mile north of our buidling.

So sad.

I feel the same as you, I am glad we have our homes, our pets, our

lives and we are not injured... as I look at Jon's totaled car - I

will keep reminding myself of this. It could have been so much

worse.

Wow - we made the Today show!

Love, Lynn

- The hail down here was crazy too. I was in my yard planting

some flowers and it came out of nowhere!

That's funny that you were on the news, I was actually looking for you

because I was so worried. I was on the wrong station though!

Take care of yourself right now and let me know if Matt and I can do

anything. You are a very short drive, so just let me know.

You are sweet Krista. They won't let many people in to Windsor right

now. My cousin Tommy was on Channel 4, my aunt Marilynn and cousin

Colleen were on Channel 9 (as well as me). My cousin Tommy and aunt

and uncle lost their business - it was leveled. It was out next to

that daycare that got hit. Very sad. Luckily they were at lunch

when it hit their building but their cars were demolished.

Who would have thought this could ever happen. All of these horrible

earthquakes, tornados and storms hitting the world! I would have

never thought it would have hit my hometown.
