Thanks, Josie. I hadn't considered myself an inspiration, but appreciate the thought.

It just hit me how I am so mired down in diet thoughts and habits. It was freeing to give myself permission to have a Cherry Coke.

Rhonda,

I love your example of IE!!! Thank you for sharing. You are an inspiration to paying attention to what we want, having it, and then quitting when we get enough!

I know what you mean. I looooooove soda! Good for you. What a victory.Josie>> A friend and I went to Subway for lunch today. I ordered my usual sub, got chips with it and proceeded to the drink fountain to get my usual Diet Coke. After putting my ice in my cup, I looked up and realized that they had Cherry Coke. My first thought was, "It's not diet. I can't have it". Then, I realized that I'm NOT on a diet and if I wanted Cherry Coke instead of Diet Coke I could have it. I happily filled my cup with Cherry Coke and enjoyed every sip of it during the meal. :-)> > I finished all of my sub and Cherry Coke, but left about 1/3 of the Baked Lays just because I was satisfied.>
