Guest guest
I grew up across the street from her. My mother and Aunt Betty were best friends and raised all 7 of us kids and siblings and cousins. She was a very strong willed " God fearing " individual. She was so kind and great to all she came across. She liked to make Arnold Palmer's, yellow cake with chocolate frosting and home made tortilla chips for all of us. Now, as a healer I was inclined to offer my services and send her healing energies. Yet sadly I was forced to refrain. For her religion and belief system taught that healing with hands and calling upon life's force is demonic and against God and nature. So you see the predicament I fell into. I had to respect her wishes. So I did what I never thought I would do again. And that was pray to a God I haven't spoken to in years. To help ease her battle and die with dignity. Surprisingly it felt comfortable and good. Instead of having every last ounce of dignity being sucked from her in a hospital with tubes hanging out of her. He granted my prayers this morning. She died with her children by her side in a loving warm environment. My Aunt Betty lost her 40 year battle with cancer this morning at the young age of 78.
