Lynda, we will miss you while you are gone. It sounds like you have some wonderful doctors taking care of you. We hope that getting away for a while will help to cheer you up.

Update on treatment

Heading to Hawaii today. Had the pleural cavity drained late yesterday. Will have to have it done in Hawaii, but otherwise do not intend to think much about treatment if I can avoid it. Nausea still hangs on a bit. They are going to work on new strategies to cut that down a lot more. Hope it works. They did not like the weight loss. I had actually gained back 2 pounds when they last weighed me. The hand-foot syndrome and the mouth sores will be the biggest challenge.Next treatment March 4th. I have a little time to get ready after I get home. Not looking forward to it.Lynda
