Guest guest
>Most people bitten by an infected mosquito never get sick< ;Are we supposed to believe they know which mosquitos have this? (I don't believe it is spread this way) How in the world would they be able to tell if a mosquito has this. We don't usually have the chance to catch the mosquitos that bite us. C. Guest guest
I'm not disputing whether or not WNV is transmitted by mosquitos; but, , my S.O. has told me about different looking mosquitos around here (we live in south Louisiana) then what we're used to seeing.. They were like striped & bigger & fatter-looking. Of course, they could have been genetically altered to carry WNV... And, whether or not these are new types of mosquitos, who knows... maybe they were around and we just swatted them and didn't pay attention to their looks? And, one of 's parents' horses caught it (they have like 6, but this was the only one who caught it... it was just getting over something else and its immune system was down)... and the vet suggest they vaccinate twice a year! of course, they do and will... they majorly believe in how good vaccines are... Guest guest
Sandy those bites are awful would get them and before i knew it she was antibotics. Every effort was taken to try and prevent it. This is what we have done to try to lessen them keep the grass cut no water around sitting. pick up everything toys when she was younger were turned upside down or put in the garage . watch for them and see what they are around then take action lolol. if you have windows open make sure theres no light in that room also check all screens to make sure theres no way to get in the house also. if theres a whole in the screen use a cotton ball in it works good lolol If a neighbor has high grass or has water around ask them to fix their yard or call the health dept mosqutos carry all kinds of things old tires also. Robbin PS got into a bath and then we used the lanacaine or benzacaine and make sure the nails are cut.
Guest guest
A great lotion for itching is called Sarna. The dermatologist gave it to my husband when he had poison ivy. You can get it at most pharmacies. Just check with your pediatrician first. (Aunt to , 2 poly)

Guest guest
> > IS anyone interested in a 100% natural mosquito patch? They contain B-1 and last through bathing and swimming for up to 36 hours. They are $1 a patch and are sold in sets of two. I eliminated chronic mosquito bite problems with oral B1. It is one of the suggestions I have listed on my site page here http://www.danasview.net/bugbite.htm Dana
Guest guest
What will they think of next?!!! At least if they bite they will have good breath!! Mosquito Spray...Worth a try I was at a deck party awhile back, and the bugs were having a ball biting everyone. A man at the party sprayed the lawn and deck floor with Listerine, and the little demons disappeared. The next year I filled a 4-ounce spray bottle and used it around my seat whenever I saw mosquitoes. And voila! That worked as well. It worked at a picnic where we sprayed the area around the food table, the children's swing area, and the standing water nearby. During the summer, I don't leave home without it.....Pass it on. OUR FRIEND'S COMMENTS: I tried this on my deck and around all of my doors. It works - in fact, it killed them instantly. I bought my bottle from Target and it cost me $1.89. It really doesn't take much, and it is a big bottle, too; so it is not as expensive to use as the can of Bug-spray you buy that doesn't last 30 minutes. So, try this, please. It will last a couple of days. Don't spray directly on a wood door (like your front door), but spray around the frame. Spray around the window frames, and even inside the dog house. Now these are Good Mosquitos!!!
Guest guest
Hi Connie, A dragon fly eats about 200 mosquitos a day, get some of those instead. I live in the jungle in Paraguay and have no problems with mosquitos, they have their natural habitat, grass, and their predators like dragon fly, gecko, frog. When I lived on the coast in Argentina you couldn't make it from the house to the car without being covered in mosquitos. Close by were soy fields....sprayed with Roundup.....mosquitos were the only survivors. Put lime juice on neck and arms and they won't bother you. The type that's resistent to Roundup is different - you can't even shake them off. Cheers, Wilfrid Subject: RE: Mosquitos To: Rife Date: Monday, May 4, 2009, 4:24 PM Hello every one, I do not know if it was some one on this group or not who posted about a month ago that they had frequencies to deture Mosquitos. I thought I had saved them, but I can't seem to find they any where. I live in an area that is perfact for testing these ones out and I'd sure like to give it a try. It was supost to be the frequencies that come from the sound of the dragon fly. Have A Great Day, Connie
Guest guest
Wilfrid, Thanks for the tip about the lemon juice. I will give it a try for us humans, but I really wanted the frequencies to help us as well as our farm animals. In about June we have to light smuges to help our animals because the mosquitoes get so bad. I thought I would try and put the frequencies on to a CD and play it out side to give some relief to all of us. Guest guest
Actually they are attracted by the CO2 you breathe out. Hold your breathe and you can fool them - test it. When you are asleep they always go for your face first. Subject: Re: Mosquitos To: Rife Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2009, 4:16 AM mosquitos are also attracted to sugar/fungus in the blood... Guest guest
Hi Bob, Can you find out what blood group that is? Perhaps it gives off frequencies that can be simulated? Imagine this blood group being bred in Africa - no more malaria. Cheers, Wilfrid Subject: Mosquitos To: Rife Date: Wednesday, May 6, 2009, 12:51 PM i know a woman (landlord/housemate ) who has an overactive sweet tooth, an unusual blood type (i forget what it is), and mosquitoes don't bite her at all so she doesn't even notice them while i can be standing next to her and get eaten up in a cloud of the suckers (so she doesn't care about leaving mosquito breeders -pools of standing water in dishes etc- all over the yard or replacing the gutters). i don't think she gets bit when she travels either... it's just not fair.
