Guest guest
Hi, I'm new. But I had to comment on selling diet books, because one of my goals this year was to get rid of 100 books and I succeeded. If you're US based, you can sell books to 's, even if you don't live near 's. They pay for shipping, although you DO have to package the books well so they get there. They don't buy everything, but hey, if you could make some money, why not? I sold to them four times and made about $60. It's certainly easier than trying to sell them individually on Amazon or Half or eBay.http://www.powells.com/info/buying.html--- I thought about the cost of all these books, too, but when I look at them, just sitting there, they only serve to remind me that I did spend all that money on them. If they're gone, I can wipe my hands of them and move on. It's not like I'm ever going to actually *sell* them or anything--realistic ally, I just wouldn't have the patience to do that. Donating them to a struggling used book store or to the Salvation Army or some other charity is another idea I'll consider.
Guest guest
Yes, and local used bookstores usually give you store credit or a small amount of money. AND, if nothing else, paperback books can be recycled like newspapers! Good luck... I felt so cleansed when I got rid of all the diet-based books. I sold them, took my $13 and took a friend to an inexpensive dinner to celebrate. So great!!! Hi, I'm new.
