Hi ladies. I just wanted to say that this has to be proof that we are not

crazy. Here is what

my pathology report of my capsules says : Benign fibromuscular tissue with

chronic

inflammation and fibrosis. That is all the proof I need to show to the numerous

docs who

thought it was in my head. Really docs, it was in the boobies! Anyway, the

drains came

out today and I feel great! I just have a few things I need to say. If this is

happening to

any military spouse out there, please email me. The military will not turn you

away, you

just need to know the right path to go down, and lets face it if we don't spell

it out exactly

right, we won't move the powers that be in the right direction. That said, I

am not sure if

iI should add this Drs name to the list as he is military and I am not sure that

I can do that

without bad ramifications for him or myself. But like I said, if you are a

military woman,

active duty or dependent, I will do what I can to get you the right info. I

have to say that

my PS is an angel from heaven who took the time to listen. He had never seen

this before

and he took it as a learning experience that would change the way he does

explantation

forever. He said he would have to question if silicone is really inert. He

would also use my

case to teach his med students. This man is no dummy. He has been around long

enough

to be the head of Plastic Surg at the National Naval Medical Center. He is a

key to the

reconstruction team who puts our men and women back together when they come home

wounded from Iraq. He is no self proclaimed doc in a box quack of a plastic

surgeon.

Remember, this is the hospital where all of our top govt officials go to be

cared for and I

really don't think they would have less than the best. Obviously I cannot say

enough. I am

elated and I feel great! Hope everyone is finding peace.

Wonderful Ali . . .

Maybe you could put a note like this in the Recommended Doc's file . . . even if you don't name the doc, you can give yourself as a reference. . . If I remember right, some military women have had to go outside the network to be explanted properly.

I tell every doctor I see, regardless of speciality, of the need for en bloc removal. .. you never know when the person needing proper removal is their spouse!

Thanks for sharing your success story!
