Saddle up." ~Author Unknown From: auntsisnj <auntsisnj@...>Subject: Therapies I'm going to try Date: Sunday, June 29, 2008, 6:18 PM Hi everyone, Last week I visited a counselor who practices a few different types of therapy - he gave me a couple of websites to look at before we get together again. I told him what my issues are, the implant problems, and some other traumas from the past. A friend of mine went to him after an injury that caused her alot of pain, and she was on addictive pain pills for three years. This woman no longer has to use the pain meds and her pain is gone. He said that he's got a number of implant patients who suffered because of them, and thinks he can help me with the brain fog which I continue to struggle with, and also thinks this will help my thumbs which continue to swell. He plans on treating me by using the therapies described in the links below. www.emofree. com www.alpha-stim. com Sis
Guest guest
Sis, I'm sorry you are still dealing with that brain fog....the thumbs swelling is not a symptom I've heard many women discussing, so I'm surprised you are still having that as well. I need to check out those websites yet, but I'm glad you've found someone who is promising and offering something new. I hope everything works wonders...please keep us posted on your progess with these new therapies. It's always good to discover something is working. Do you notice if your brain fog is menstrual related or not? Have you been able to make any connection to anything? Guest guest
Patty, The thumb swelling is actually joint swelling. Used to be throughout my body, so I'm thankful it's only the joints in the thumbs that swell up now. Hoping the brain fog goes away after these treatments - I'll definitely report on any progress. This particular doctor believes that the reason why I've still got brain fog is that I'm not mentally over the trauma, and that two areas of the brain that normally communicate are working independently of one another because of that. I'm willing to give it a try. I experienced ovarian failure prior to getting implants, and I was put on the pill to compensate for it. However, as soon as I got implants my body couldn't tolerate the pill anymore, and my blood pressure suddenly got high so my doctor told me to stop taking it. So, the brain fog isn't related to menstrual periods because I no longer get a period. I haven't been able to make a connection with the brain fog - but I do think that I've reached a plateau and need something to give me a push. Since I'm really sensitive to supplements, I've never been able to follow any detoxing protocol - although I did purchase a portable infrared sauna.
