Thanks for the reminder Dede! I always wondered what the

BUN/creatine ratio meant...the doc who gave me the results only told

me it was high but nothing to worry about...so I didn't. Had I known

I would have been better at drinking my water than I have been. It's

one of those things I forget to do because with my digestion probs I

try to avoid water an hour before and after eating and the rest of

the time I'm chasing after kids and I forget! Hope you are having a

better day today. Love, PH

It seems alot of us implant sufferers have had trouble with our

kidneys. I sure did! For the first time in my life ever, after I got

sick from implants, I had bladder infections that got so bad I had to

go to the emergency room. Then they became frequent. More than once I

had that urgent need to go and the burning, practically peeing my pants

and not making it to the toilet on time. Then sometimes only about a

teaspoon came out. Perhaps my issue was not enough water too, but

dang! It seemed that I had to go to the bathroom so often!

I think I'm better now, but I still go to the bathroom more often than

anyone else in my family. It drives me crazy.

Patty,

My theory is that materials from breast implants irritate the kidneys and bladder because this is so common. . . It's important to keep urine diluted . . . should be a very pale yellow. If it's bright yellow (and you're not taking B-complex vitamins, you need more water.

This seems to get better the further one gets from explant.

Yes, it does get better the further one gets from explant, at least

that was my case. I haven't had a bladder infection in ages.

However, I still have to go to the bathroom very frequently! If I go

to a restaurant and drink iced tea, (my usual, as I don't drink coffee,

soda, or juices) I am in the bathroom seems like every 15 minutes for

the next hour.
