Guest guest
Hi Yesenia, I'm really glad to hear you've been heard by an open minded doctor. They are so rare to find. Fibromyalgia is a common condition amongst implanted women. Unfortunately, alot of doctors will deny there is a connection. Antidepressants are often prescribed these days, and I am not sure that they are the solution. It is rare that the antidepressants actually bring about any type of healing...and only delaying progress. I think quite a number of women on our group found that getting rid of the drugs was one of their first steps toward progress. The goal is to only use drugs temporarily to help you get through the very worst of times, with the understanding that they will not be a long term answer and getting off as soon as possible. The ANA test is a good one to take...I would also recommend a thyroid test, including the Free t3 and Free t4, as well as Anti-TPO antibodies and Anti-thyroglobulin antibodies. I would also recommend a rheumatoid factor test, and if possible, a cortisol test that measures your cortisol output at 4 different times of the day. I would also recommend a hormonal panel to see where your sexual hormones are at. These are tests that MOST doctors won't request, so you might have to defend your position. These are some of the tests that have been abnormal on some of our women. Patty > > I went to my new regular doctor yesterday. Guest guest
Patty, Thank you so much !!! The previous doctors in the same office had already checked my thyroid, i don't know what kind of test though. They also had checked my hormones. Yes, i would love to find out where my sex hormomens are... lol i don't seem to find them anywhere. I don't know what kind of hormone test they did neither. I would ask this new doctor to check again. I guess a panel is probably different than what i had done. I will ask about the other ones also. She seems to be ok with doing some investigating out of the norm. She mention " working on the symptoms rather than the results of the test " !!!!!! what a concept !!!!! I think she might be God sent. Thanks again Patty Love & Blessings, Yesenia > > > > I went to my new regular doctor yesterday. Guest guest
Yesenia, Most thyroid tests are the basic ones...TSH and the T3 and T4, and alot of doctors don't delve deeply enough into a possible autoimmune condition. That's what the antibody tests are for. Make sure you get copies of all of your test results, so you can have records for yourself and you can keep track of where these levels are heading. Over time you may see a gradual shift towards a hypothyroid state. I think we also have a big problem with our hormones in general and that is why so many doctors can't find anything wrong with us. They do all kinds of tests and tell us we are okay because our tests are okay. But maybe they have not discovered where our hormones have been jolted out of balance because they may still be in " normal " ranges. Who knows? It is complex, to be sure. Keep looking for answers....with the help of a good doctor, you will find a solution. Patty > > > > > > I went to my new regular doctor yesterday.
