Guest guest
a,The good news is that your rash got better with antibiotics . . . the bad news is that it will likely get worse because of the antibiotics.Antibiotics kill off the friendly flora of your body, along with bacteria. . . When your body starts to recover the unfriendly (fungal) flora will rebound quicker, leaving you with a nasty fungal problem. It takes a lot of work to recolonize those friendly organisms. . . As well as a healthy diet = NO sugar! The "fix" for that is to start taking probiotics now and continue indefinitely. . . examples are yogurt, Kefir, sauerkraut and supplements like Garden of Life Primal Defense, Acidopholis and Probiotics. Guest guest
Hi a, Welcome to the group. I can relate to the fear of what you're going through. One of my earliest symtpoms (besides digestive issues) we're swollen lymph nodes. I woke up one morning with a huge node under my jaw the size of a large walnut. I immediately went to the doctor and he sent me in for an MRI, thinking that I had Hodgkin's. I asked him if it could be my implants and he laughed. The lymph node went down within a week and I didn't have any more symptoms til a year later and by the time I went in for explant, the doctor had to surgically remove 2 lymph nodes from my arm pits since they were so swollen. She did a biopsy on them and all that turned up was benign inflamed tissue. I wouldn't be surprised if your lymph nodes are swollen from inflammation rather than cancer, especially given that you have had joint pain (also inflammation). I'm not sure about the breast cysts but I know that several of us have had ovarian cysts due to endocrine imbalances. Your breast cysts could be a result of that as well. I know my mom has fibrocystic breasts...they have always been benign for her. You're wise to get your implants removed so you can clear up this inflammation and let your body heal. I went to Dr. Kolb in Atlanta www.plastikos.com Hang in there and let us know the results. If you have any more questions, just ask. Love, PH > > hi i have saline implants that ive had for 8 years now. > I all of a sudden got a breast rash, redness, sorenss 2 weeks ago. > looked up eymptoms online and it sounde djust like inflammatory > breast cancer..went to gp and she put me on antibiots. rash started > friday and when i saw her it looked better on monday and she assured > me it couldnt be cancer as that wont look better on monday from > friday. antibiots seemed to clear it all, but discovered a lump. > went to plastic surgeon who also could feel it, he sent me to breast > doctor. i got mammo, mri and ultrasound! they all show *cysts*. the > latest test mri shows enlarged lumph nodes and the shape doesnt > appear like a malignanvy but he suggested biopsy since he cant rule > out inflammatory carcinoma. and the enlarged lymph nodes are > *especially worrisome* (his words). well needless to say im scared > to death. i get this info friday with no dr's in the office and im > on pins and needles till monday. ive also come to the conclusion > thur all this that my *safe* saline implants are probeably causing > my joint pain ive had so bad the past few years (i attributed it to > age and weight)but im rethinking these implants and what they can be > doing inside of me and i know regardless of the cancer outcone, > these are coming out!!! > has anyone had any scares like this or know of aomeone? id love to > hear from you. > paula >
