11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

A Community Autism Awareness Day for the City of City is planned for Saturday, April 10, 2010, from 11:00A.M.-1:00P.M. at the City Fire Station #28 located at 10550 Stirling Rd , City . The City of City will be hosting an Open House for City Residents with developmental disabilities and their families.

Representatives from the BSO Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services and BSO Department of Law Enforcement will be on hand to meet individuals and their families, allowing them to become accustomed to seeing these wonderful service providers in full uniform, as well as offering the opportunity to enter their emergency vehicles.

Free refreshments will be served!

Collaborative efforts by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services City District 28, Broward Sheriff’s Office Department of Law Enforcement City District 16, Broward County Professional Fire Fighters Local 4321, Autism Society of America, UM-Nova Southeastern Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, the Kiwanis Club of City and the City of City have all partnered to make this special day possible.
