Guest guest
Hi ,I was wondering, how are you and your sister feeling?Love Traci"Feeling down? Saddle up." ~Author Unknown From: linzlu25 <linzlu25@...>Subject: 6 weeks after explant Date: Friday, June 13, 2008, 10:33 PM I am writing this to ask for a question for my sister. Her explant was six weeks ago. She was slowly getting improving. But now it seems her symtoms have come back worse than before. Shortness of breath, cough, feel of mucus in her chest but can't cough it up, heart palpitations, etc... I read this in the files folder of the group: "About 6 weeks after explant surgery, many women experience a worsening of symptoms that can be frightening. This is a common event that we can predict will happen, so do not become alarmed if your symptoms become worse. That is the true beginning of your healing journey, which may be marked by periods of exacerbations and flares, or "bad days" followed by "good days". It is often a rollercoaster ride, with a "two steps forward and one step back" type of cycle." This is posted in the FAQ section here. Are thre any women here that this cycle has happened too? If so, how long does the 6 week bump in the road last?
