It was really ugly and the only scent was tea tree oil. I took one bar into work for a friends teenager, told her to have her daughter wipe her face with witch hazel after washing with the soap. Well . . . . she came to work a week later and bought 5 bars and by the end of the day I had all of them sold. I made some more this past week and all of them are gone also. So maybe I'll make a bigger batch of this ugly soap as it seems to be a hit. I think the tea tree oil is appealing for acne soap as it smells so medicinal. Guest guest
Would you mind sharing the recipe for this? For some reason, my face has broken out so bad over the last few months (probably post-pregnancy hormones) and I can't find anything that will clear it up. Ugh! Stacey K. Guest guest
I made an acne soap using carrot juice and added dried & powdered rosemary for astringent and the soap turned out the funkiest greenish/orange LOL! IMHO, it's pretty ugly, HOWEVER, if it'll help someone's acne, what will they care, right? LOL!
