I got a nice surprise today

I gave my doctors one of my crocheted Angel afghans for Christmas. I got the

nicest hand written note from my Surgeon, Dr Strom. Here it is.

Dear Chuck and nne,

It was so wonderful of you to give me and my family the red Angel quilt at

Christmastime. Red is 's (our youngest who has Down's syndrome) favorite

color and the quilt is on her bed.

What is most wonderful and the most gratifying for a physician is a thank you

from a patient. It is what truly makes the practice of medicine very rewarding

and special. Of course you have gone way above and beyond.
