Guest guest
Hi JosieI empathise with the tall and the short plus size people. I am shorter but plus size and most clothes I buy I have to take in the length and if it is petite length I have to take in the waist as I am a pear shape. Except when I was in Los Angeles and went to a store that had designs where I got a size 16 petite jeans that fit so well that I wore them out. Please try and click on the extended sizes tab where there are lots more plus sizes in petite, average and tall and hope something works for you. I'm a pear shape, too, and have the same problem with waist/hip/thighs fit. The best ones I've found are these: http://www.lee. com/webapp/ wcs/stores/ servlet/CatalogS earchResultView? searchTerm= 4951411 & catalogId=10901 & storeId=10151 & langId=-1. Kohl's may have them, too, so you might want to check there first if there's one near you. Lee jeans don't fit me well at all, but these pants do. Hope this helped! Sohni Hi Sue, I have tried Land's End. I always have high hopes for them because they're the only retailer I've ever seen that offers plus sizes and actually let's you tell them what you want the inseam to be and they just hem it for you to the right length, which is brilliant. But I've ordered pants from them several times and have never once had one fit properly. They seem to design for more of an apple shape and I'm more pear shaped. Usually, on me their pants gape badly through the butt and waist but squeeze my thighs like sausages. Not attractive or at all comfortable. I've kind of given up on them (for pants, anyway, they're fine for shirts and sweaters and things) because it starts to get expensive to have to keep shipping stuff back. But thanks for the idea. I'm definitely open to all suggestions. Josie >
