Guest guest
Hi everybody here is a chart and info about buying organic verse conventional Also by shopping at a farmers market or joining a csa or buying from the farms. You will save alot of money. Here some website where you can find them www.localharvest.org www.greenpeople.com www.realmilk.com You can also find local meat, egg, chicken and milk. Also ask the person in charge at farmer market or people at the tables if they know someone that sells meat, raw milk or things you like. It never hurts to ask questions. You would be suprised what you could find out. Your local health food store could tell you to or they sell local products from time to time. OH i know the csa in flagstaff does eggs, meats and cheese besides veggies and fruit..It is extra for it but it is all local. YOu can also save money by growing your own veggies/salad or herbs its easy even in a window . Some have a dollar off or more. You can get raw goats milk for $3.50 at healthy thymes in camp verde on main street. She has alot of local products. There open mon-friday.Buy products in bulk like oats, rice ,flour ,herbs ,there is even a pancake mix so much cheaper. mount hope has bulk section and you can ask them to get anything they have in bulk section or even if they dont carry it ask. Most health food store you can get in bulk you wouldnt believe what you save by buying in bulk.Even 1lb of oats i save $3 That is what we have for breakfast almost every morning instead of boxed cereal. If bacon turkey bacon.we also save money by drinking water and sometime with lemon.Great for rehydration dont have to buy those drinks like gatorade/proply or the energy drink you can get dehydrated from drinking them and corn syrup does not break down in the body. Also they have artificial sweetner in them.www.mercola.com/2004/may/26/corn_syrup_diabetes.htm http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/02/26/artificial-sweeteners-once-again-linked-to-weight-gain.aspx www.mercola.com/article/sugar/dangers_of_sugar.htm http://www.mercola.com/sweepstakes/yourfreebonuses/health_articles_women.htm http://www.mercola.com/sweepstakes?yourfreebonuses/health_articles_children.htm I will be sending another list on how i save on all my products and were to find them.
