Guest guest
Hello, I have to rebatch, as you know, so if silk is added to the lye, can I still add it in the beginning of rebatch? (Did I word that right?) I rebatch with soap of palm and coconut oils, if I add cocoa butter would it make it too soft? Don't you just love people with all these questions. I just got cocoa butter and I want to play!! Carol Kapochus Carol's Scents'N'Soaps
Guest guest
Thanks Sherry, I thought that maybe the case. At least I am starting to have some idea of what works and what won't. OH...But so much to learn, so little time!! Carol Kapochus Carol's Scents'N'Soaps
Guest guest
Carol, Cocoa butter adds hardness to the bars. I don't know how you would add silk (unless you have the liquid silk) at rebatch. I know it takes hot lye to dissolve it, and I know it is at least the heat. Cooled lye solution will not dissolve the silk.
