Guest guest
Krista ~ Are you worried about my carotids? No, not right now Nope, none of that....just the pain. Do you ever feel you are tensing up?from stress and dailey tension or from not feeling well ? ? right now, consiously relax, and see if you move down into a more relaxed position I'm curious to know what you are thinking....hmmmmm.......I will let you know soon...... Dede- My regular doc gave me the prescription. I saw her quite a bit last spring and summer when I was first starting to have all the problems. Then, didn't see her again till late November, then I just saw her again last week. She didn't say anything about my bp, because it was normal when I went in. I guess she assumed my meds are working fine. I've been on this particular one, I think since last June (about a year,) we tried a few other starting last March, but they gave me bad side effects. I am sensitive to most all prescription medications. ~Krista Just wait til you read what I just sent you........... Guest guest
Hi Dede- My blood pressure still isn't good. I'm still taking the Aldomet, 250 mg a day. I've tried to go off of it a few times (because I hate taking prescription meds) but my blood pressure shoots right back up to 100/150 (soemtimes higher, eek!) The meds keep it down around 80/120 (except when I get extra stressed, then it shoots up temporarily.) The pain is really weird, I can't explain it. Its like right under my chin on either side, it gets worse with stress or being active. And, it shoots up to my ears sometimes. What do you think? ~Krista > > Krista ~ > > How is your blood pressure these days? > Are you still on bp meds? > Which one and how many mg and how often? > > just thinking........uh oh, might be scarey...... > me thinking that is... > luvya~D > > > ************** > Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live > music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com! > > (http://www.tourtracker.com?NCID=aolmus00050000000112) >
Guest guest
Dede- I don't know exactly what my pulse is, but I know my bp machine takes it while it take my bp. It is high when bp is high (around 100,) but normal when bp is normal (high 60's into low 70's.) Yes, bp about 150/100 without meds, and normal with meds (except when I get stressed, then it is high.)
