As I mentioned previously, I don't use control solution, but I'm pretty sure the

control solution is a substitute for blood. So, get some on the strip as if it

were blood.

Yes, with the Prodegy, they tell you to put solution on your finger and then

apply finger to end of strip. I don’t use solution as often as they say,

but I do use it every time I open a new bottle of strips. Each bottle has a

range, and when you use the test solution, the number you get should be

within that range. If it is not, I guess that means there is something

wrong with that bottle of strips. I’ve never had a problem.
