Guest guest
This is amazing, I always new there was something different about my mom, but just had trouble putting a finger on it. My oldest brother is By-Polar, so I thought that was what mom has. Reading about BD and hearing your stories has shinned a whole new light on my life. I should have recognized it a long time ago. I have read many books about Mental illnesses and that's how I discovered my own depression. I guess I skipped the one on BD - even when my therapist mentioned that he felt thats what mom had after telling him some of my crazy stories. I'ts a comfort to know that I'm not making up stories or being a drama queen about what I lived with. As you probably know, my mother still thinks we had a pritty good, peacefull childhood. In the meantime she continues to complain about the same old things, and wonders why her children are to busy for her. Does anyone have a mom that won't except help with anything, then complains that no-one helps her?! Mom's 82 years old and still mows the lawn if my brother's a day late to come do it. Guess who has to hear about it? Finally I told her to mow the lawn all she wants, or hire someone who she can dictate the exact day of the job to be done. This has been the story of her life. Does it sound familiar! Nana Banana
