Guest guest
I took my 5 yr old daughter to the dentist for her regular 6 mth checkup. I've been taking her regularly since she turned 3. I watch her sugar don't allow her to eat candy/chocolate eat anything with additives/preservatives or high fructose corn syrup I also don't allow her to drink soda and the ONLY juice she drinks is 100% juice and that's only 1 box daily in her lunchbox. She eats lots of fruits and veggies. So hearing today that she has 4 cavities was shocking to say the least! How can this be possible? I brush her teeth 2x day and even floss I take care of her teeth probably better than the anyone I know. Anyhow, the dentist is a VERY difficult place for her so I was advised that she's have to go Miami Childrens Hospital and have her put to sleep to put fillings in the 4 molars. I have a few questions and hope someone can answer them. 1) What other than general anesthesia can be given? I REFUSE to put her under 2) can supplements cause cavities? 3) do you know a good dentist that accepts CMS title 19?
