I am a huge fan of ice cream. I finally got to the point where I realized that food does not help my emotions and why I overeat. Once you get to that point the food is just food and doesn't have as much power over you. I actually still have ice cream from a few weeks ago in the freezer. I don't even know if is good but in the past I would have craved it everytime I opened the freezer. It would have been long gone. Give yourself time and food won't have power as much as it did before.
