Hi,

It might be that you are identifying hunger at the point when you are already very, very hungry? I'm not sure but it's something to consider.

I have a struggle, not with finding hunger, but with comfortable satiety; my body is really weak on signals for that! I compensate by eating what I want but adding something with fiber like a fruit or lettuce salad or veggie.

I don't restrict anything but find I really need something with fiber or my stomach doesn't feel a bit full....I don't know why this is; maybe something medical but I haven't been diagnosed.

I have been working on Intuitive Eating for about 2-3 years. I have a very difficult time finding physical hunger. Sometimes I can find it after about 5 hours. Usually I can't wait that long because I get tired of waiting to eat. But when I do, I can find it. However, by the time I find it -it goes from a stomach twinge to some short pangs. Then when I do eat what seems to be a medium amount (say 400-500 calories although I don't consciously count calories anymore), afterwards my stomach feels even WORSE.... what I mean by that is huge hunger pangs.I do not believe the pains/pangs are due to not eating enough nor overeating.Any advice?
