Guest guest
Hi : I forgot your history. Have you previously struggled with anorexic eating habits, like severely restricting your intake? Does restricting and/or losing weight (but you are not overweight) make you feel more in control of your life, when other circumstances make you feel very out of control? If so, how did you previously resist urges to severely restrict what you ate? If you're overweight and actually need to lose some weight, try to take care of yourself during this emotionally traumatic time. Taking care of yourself may mean listening to your body cues so that you eat when you are hungry, but don't make yourself uncomfortable by overeating. Self-care may also mean getting some enjoyable daily exercise to help you cope with stress or painful emotions. However self-care may also mean talking to friends, journaling your feelings or just doing things you enjoy more often. Take care of yourself.
