Guest guest
With those two recommendations, I am going to check it out! I don't feel like a particularly spiritual person... and yet the spiritual aspect of Geneen's book spoke to me. And I had great luck with Eckhert Tolle's book as well. So this seems worth a shot. So thankful for libraries! Abby alana, thank you for posting you are an inspiration to me having done this for 3 1/2 years it makes me see that it IS possible for me too. I love nne & have already booked tickets to see her & Geneen at the Vancouver I Can Do It conference. She will be speaking (sadly only for 90 mins) on a courseinweightloss (not the greatest choice in titles, I fear) & Geneen (also only 90 mins : ( will speak on WFG) Can't wait for March so I'm going to see if I can get the book right away. I didn't realize that it was out so thanks for telling us. mj > > I just thought I'd pass this on. Some people do not like nne on as she is too " new age " . But for those that are spiritual in nature might be interested in this. This is a new book, so I don't know a whole lot about it, but knowing nne, I imagine it is probably IE based. I would not let the title fool you. But anyway, thought I'd pass it along and for those who might be interested can check it out at their leisure. > Alana > > http://promos.hayhouse.com/acourseinweightloss/ >
Guest guest
Hi Abby, If you like tolle, then nne should be just up your alley. I just love her books on CDs. I got some good CDs by her on marriage & relationships from my local library. She has a great voice. I read a lot of spiritual books. I loved the power of now by Tolle & the new earth. I don't like it when he reads on CDs though. His voice is so calming it puts me to sleep. Hey, I have sleeping problems because of menopause & there's an idea, put on an ekhart cd. LOL. I also watched all of the segments with Ekhart on the oprah website. AWESOME stuff. btw, you can take a browse through marianne's book on amazon. I did & decided right away that I need to read it. mj
Guest guest
If you liked Tolle and Roth, you will probably also like nne. Another great book by hers is A Return to Love and also The Age of Miracles. Because of here I am now making my way through A Course In Miracles. Another author I like is Don Ruiz - The Four Agreements. While these are not IE related, I find I can fit what I learn into IE. To me, it's all about growing and learning. Lets face it, IE isn't just about food - it's so much more - it's about our beliefs, our core, our attitudes etc. It's all good stuff! Alana > > > > > > I just thought I'd pass this on.
