Guest guest
My 3 year old just started pre-school this Dec. and caught the "Croup" viral cough, very scary. They had to give him a Steroid shot at the hospital to open up his air passage. This then turned into Bronchitus. His Pediatrician thought he heard Flu like symptom's on his chest; so he prescribed him an antiviral called "Tami-Flu" for his Flu symptoms & a synthetic antibiotic called "Cefdiner" which gave him heavy runs and told me to stop the Difflucan & Valtrex while he was on this 10 day medication.Ok, so seeing how bad his diarrea got and thinking maybe I should give his GI track a little rest I immediately stopped all Vitamins, Enhansa, Valtrex, Difflucan, Gluthadione transdermal cream & B12 shots and haven't given them back to him in the past 3 1/2 weeks. This will be the first time I've ever stopped his biomedical since he was 18 months.I now want to run O.A.T's test #3 (last one was on 3/10), I also want to run a Hair Elements, Peroxide lipids & blood test and hopefully get a true test showing how his GI track is currently doing. Would you all recommend I get back on board with all his biomedical asap and still run all the tests or don't give him any of the vitamins & meds until I run all the tests first and perhaps adjust his biomedical with the new findings? Please advise and thank you, Irma
