With the recent healthcare reform it is now mandated that any policy written with an 10/01/2010 start date or later MUST accept dependent children regardless of preexisiting. This is for family, parent and child or child only policies. This is far more incompassing than the recent Autism Bill. There is no word on the cost of the coverage, but, expect it to be expensive since kids like the MkMonster with a monthly drug cost over $1000. will be covered.
