I used to have a job where the boss' elderly uncle would hang around. One day, he was talking about his mother (widowed at a young age). " That woman was a saint. Nine kids and she would walk every night over the bridge to Fall River to go to work. Never missed a night's work. Ever. " Well, if I had 9 kids at home, I'd walk miles over the bridge every damn night to go to work, too. Funny, funny stuff.
