Guest guest
*hugs* Congrats =) > > !!! For those of you who have read my previous posts, I am trying to go NC with nada and FOO when I move in a month for grad school. I tried to file papers myself to change my name but if I did so, it wouldn't be complete until well into first semester and that wouldn't be safe to have so many people know my old name. Also, when I was trying to do this myself, the courts were going to make me publish my name change and there would be a record of the case. I bit the bullet and hired several lawyers although, of course, they couldn't make any promises. They petitioned the court for an expedited process, for the case to be sealed, and to not publish it. And, two and a half weeks later, a judge approved all of that today!! I can't even believe this actually happened. As a KO, I am so used to things falling through and never working out, even when I've covered all my bases. > > And, for those of you who followed my other posts, I also found out today I passed the last set of medical boards . It's been a good day! > > >

Guest guest
Thanks everyone . I still can't believe something *good* has actually happened and didn't fall through. I've been busy packing and nada's been busy hoovering. I keep thinking about how there was no other time in my life I could have done this- this is the first time I've had my own bank account while not living in the same state as nada and I'm in the middle of a move so I can disappear. I'm so so happy I'm taking advantage of the situation! I'm hoping fada will be mad enough that he won't let nada look for me (very possible). I'll keep everyone posted! > > > > !!!
