Friends and stalkers

Hi Gang, not to be constantly talking about my stalker, but I guess I am

constantly talking about my stalker.

Anyway, I've told a few friends about the situation. For the most part, they

react like their is something wrong with me. " Like seriously, you haven't

been around your brother in 7 or 8 years? and Well that sounds very strange

and it takes 2 to tango etc. "

But I did talk to one friend about it. I really believed she would support

me. She is also an artist and we collaborate all the time, doing shows

together for the past 4 years. I even sent her the messages from stalker.

Her dad is a mean-ass lawyer and she offered to have him look into it for

me. So after reading the messages, here is what she said. I just had to

share it. This is what a friend is. If you have friends who don't support

you like this, I think you could tell them bye bye and be the better for it.

I think that is going to be happening to a few of mine after the stalker

issues.

" Read that (the message) to husband. He said that it sounds like it is from

a family member or someone with severe mental issues.

And... I know you already know this but in case you need to hear it, I will

lay it out for you. This is what I am getting from this situation and from

knowing you.

You, my dear, are a wonderful human being. You are a happy, talented,

passionate, loving individual who is justified in all your reactions to your

family. It really sucks for them to have lost you and I think they are just

feeling that. (seems like they miss having a human punching bag) Whatever

reason they have for aiming this aggression at you again cannot be justified

though. You have let go of those who do not serve you, and it sounds like

they need to do the same. If they don't stop, I will form a team and we will

make them stop!!

Feels good to have a true friend. I'm a lucky girl. I've known for a long

time that you're not born into your family, you build it yourself with your

hands, your talents, your time and your love.
