Guest guest
The below statement is soooo misleading..... and has been used in many articles over the years to brainwash the people into thinking poor mistreated Dow..... part where it says " settlements forced the company into bankruptcy." simply isnt true. I wonder how many people feel sorry for DOW, thinking they paid out millions and went to the poor house and had to file bankruptcy ? ? Not realizing that even as rich as they are, they filed bankruptcy so that they could delay or not pay..... and most they did pay, it wasnt even enough to pay for original implant surgery, muchless any medical care after people got sick and lost everything, their health, homes, and familys and jobs, or ability to work. The FDA ordered silicone-gel filled breast implants off the market in 1992 after a flurry of complaints that they caused autoimmune illnesses and even cancer. Thousands of women sued implant maker Dow Corning, and settlements forced the company into bankruptcy. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/12/18/health/webmd/main2279378.shtml **************Looking for a car that's sporty, fun and fits in your budget?
