Guest guest
I think the shots are easier to deal with than wondering what 's doing.....You need one of those ankle bracelets tied to the bingo hall....She gets to far from there and you'll know it.....LOL.....Doesn't she have a boyfriend?.....What's she doing in the barracks?.....Tell her next time she misses up, you're going to tell her boyfriend.....Needless to say, he definitely won't like.....Raising daughters can be really hell....I know I was for my parents.....Take a deep breath, count to 10 and then explode.....LOL..... Well hell I just had a tremendous pity party last night. Sorry y'all missed it! First, my rheumy is out of town but he calls to tell me my sed rate and CRP are through the roof and we have to do something. Trouble is, we've tried everything. We're going BACK on the enbrel and I'll be doing both injections at the same time, once a week rather than twice a week. Well, at least it doesn't sting like the Humira does. Not that I remember. Other than this, we're lost. He wants to put me back on the methotrexate so bad he can't stand it but my liver just won't tolerate it. Next, my SIL and I went to see Troy last night (outstanding movie!!!) on base and I had a "mother's gut instinct" and decided to pop in and see at work. It was 9:45 and she calls around 10:15 every night to tell me she's leaving work. The building was empty. An older man was at the register in the bowlong alley section so I asked him what time Bingo is over. He said, they're usually out of there between 9:15 and 9:30 every night. Well, my gut instinct (again) led us to the barracks and lo and behold, there was 's car. I called her cell phone but of course she wouldn't answer because she thinks I still think that she's at work (no cells allowed.) So I called the barracks duty hut and they paged her in every room. About 10 minutes later, she comes out of a room and I can see her through the break between the buildings. She calls me to tell me she's just now "leaving work." I said " take 5 steps forward and look to your right." Hello, dear. Well, the duty sergeant called PMO (military police) becasue 's under 18 and can't be in the barracks. They were still dealing with the guy when we left. It was a long long night and none of us (Ronnie was waiting up when we got home) got to bed before 4 am! Anyone wanna buy a 2002 red Dodge Neon? Guest guest
The bad part is that I know this is payback. Guest guest
You know what's sad, 's father was a Marine and her "Daddy" retired from the Army. All of our family has been military (my dad was Navy, Granddad Navy, uncle retired from Air Force..) so is convinced the military lifestyle is what she wants so she goes after Marines (I'm thinking we should move to Columbus 'cause she'd have better luck with a soldier in the army!) but she told me "I find Marines that I like and we go out and have fun but I'm scared because I know, sooner or later, the "Marine" is going to come out in them." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I'm trying so hard to convince her that the ONLY thing she needs to do right now is pass the graduation test (she still has to pass the Science part, she passed the other 3 parts on the first try and missed this one by 10 points!), go to college, enjoy her job and live her OWN life. THEN she can figure out how to add a man to the mixture. On another note, Tina and her husband are "separated." She's "staying with a friend for a while." Not the time to say "I told you so?" RE: Well hell Oh crap Christy. Don't give up until you're not breathing anymore. There are new breakthroughs in meds every day. Fingers crossed that they find one that will help you. Don't you just love it when you catch them in the act. The look on their faces is priceless. What will they do to the guy?? Make a plan with you and Ronnie and then both of you stand your ground. Make her face the consenquences for her choices. geez kids!!! I remember those days. Guest guest
scared because I know, sooner or later, the "Marine" is going to come out in them." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Okay this one really caught my eye, is she trying to make one of them really mad at her and "go Marine" on her?? Deep down does she think she's done something wrong and wants to be punished for it?? I used to push and push every guy I ever went out with to find out how far they'd let me go. Does that make sense?? When they finally got mad enough and hit me I felt better. Al right that sounds bad doesn't it. It all had to do with the way I was brought up. Years and years of therapy later and I can say that now. lol eek, I just looked out the window and its getting dark at noon. More storms again, sheesh. It stormed yesterday while I was out in it.
