Guest guest
scared because I know, sooner or later, the "Marine" is going to come out in them." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Okay this one really caught my eye, is she trying to make one of them really mad at her and "go Marine" on her?? Deep down does she think she's done something wrong and wants to be punished for it?? I used to push and push every guy I ever went out with to find out how far they'd let me go. Does that make sense?? When they finally got mad enough and hit me I felt better. Al right that sounds bad doesn't it. It all had to do with the way I was brought up. Years and years of therapy later and I can say that now. lol eek, I just looked out the window and its getting dark at noon. More storms again, sheesh. It stormed yesterday while I was out in it. Guest guest
Nah, her boss "encourages the girls to be nice to the Marines." GRRRRRR She's from the Philippines. How old is her boss?? What came to my mind was the image of all those girls during the vietnam war. Love ya long time. Only 5 dollar. I'll leave the rest to your thinking. They should be treating the Marines like any other person they come into contact with, they're no different. If you give a young guy an inch he'll take a mile, I always thought. All those hormones. lol

Next, my SIL and I went to see Troy last night (outstanding movie!!!) on base and I had a "mother's gut instinct" and decided to pop in and see at work. It was 9:45 and she calls around 10:15 every night to tell me she's leaving work. The building was empty. An older man was at the register in the bowlong alley section so I asked him what time Bingo is over. He said, they're usually out of there between 9:15 and 9:30 every night. Well, my gut instinct (again) led us to the barracks and lo and behold, there was 's car. I called her cell phone but of course she wouldn't answer because she thinks I still think that she's at work (no cells allowed.) So I called the barracks duty hut and they paged her in every room. About 10 minutes later, she comes out of a room and I can see her through the break between the buildings. She calls me to tell me she's just now "leaving work." I said " take 5 steps forward and look to your right." Hello, dear. Well, the duty sergeant called PMO (military police) becasue 's under 18 and can't be in the barracks. They were still dealing with the guy when we left. It was a long long night and none of us (Ronnie was waiting up when we got home) got to bed before 4 am! Anyone wanna buy a 2002 red Dodge Neon? Guest guest
Geez! They just got married! I know it won't do any good to tell her that. My parents tried--I did finished college after the kids were born and it's alot harder to do when you have other responsibilities. Not to mention that it's always a good idea for a woman to have a "fall back" plan even if her plan A is a stay at home Mom--you just never know. Especially if you marry someone in the military with our current political situation. Kathy RE: Well hell Oh crap Christy. Don't give up until you're not breathing anymore. What will they do to the guy?? Make a plan with you and Ronnie and then both of you stand your ground. Make her face the consenquences for her choices. geez kids!!! I remember those days. Sorry y'all missed it! First, my rheumy is out of town but he calls to tell me my sed rate and CRP are through the roof and we have to do something. Trouble is, we've tried everything. We're going BACK on the enbrel and I'll be doing both injections at the same time, once a week rather than twice a week. Well, at least it doesn't sting like the Humira does. Not that I remember. Other than this, we're lost. He wants to put me back on the methotrexate so bad he can't stand it but my liver just won't tolerate it. Guest guest
Yikes! Kathy RE: Well hell Oh crap Christy. Don't give up until you're not breathing anymore. There are new breakthroughs in meds every day. Fingers crossed that they find one that will help you. Don't you just love it when you catch them in the act. The look on their faces is priceless. What will they do to the guy?? Make a plan with you and Ronnie and then both of you stand your ground. Make her face the consenquences for her choices. geez kids!!! I remember those days. Guest guest
Yeah, it's dark here too. No rain yet, and it's still, but awfully dark. I'm glad you got through the pushing until you were hit thing--I know other women that have gone through that--in fact my one cousin does that still--she's 40 kathy RE: Well hell scared because I know, sooner or later, the "Marine" is going to come out in them." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Okay this one really caught my eye, is she trying to make one of them really mad at her and "go Marine" on her?? Deep down does she think she's done something wrong and wants to be punished for it?? I used to push and push every guy I ever went out with to find out how far they'd let me go. Does that make sense?? When they finally got mad enough and hit me I felt better. Al right that sounds bad doesn't it. It all had to do with the way I was brought up. Years and years of therapy later and I can say that now. lol eek, I just looked out the window and its getting dark at noon. More storms again, sheesh. It stormed yesterday while I was out in it. Guest guest
I know we discussed Arava because I haven't done that one yet but it was either my liver or kidneys that couldn't tolerate that so we skipped it. Re: Well hell Christy, When my liver couldn't tolerate the methotrexate any more my specialist put me onto Arava. It has been great. I don't know whether you can get in in USA. I'm also now on Myfortic in combination with the Arava and I know it is working for my autoimmune stuff. (((Hugs))) RobynChristy wrote: I just had a tremendous pity party last night.
