Guest guest
I had compression stockings but my doctor made out a prescription with the compression required and the length he thought would work best. everyone is different and he should give more guideance. these were custom made as everyone has a different shape and they cost about one hundred and twenty dollars. my husband had the same need and his cost one hundred dollars. another thing when you are sitting elevate your feet and legs to prevent swelling. karen From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Mark Ruth Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2011 5:56 AM To: blind diabetics Subject: GOT A Q FOR YOU GUYS. Guest guest
A friend of mine uses some compression stockings which are velcroed on. She is in her mid seventies and the velcro sure makes it a whole lot easier to get them on and off. It also eliminates the need for various size stockings as they fit a wide variety of leg thicknesses. Guest guest
Mark, My doc sent me to a special medical supply place to get those. They measure your feet and legs at different points and then have them specially made for you. Medicare and Medicaid pays for them. _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Mark Ruth Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2011 2:56 AM To: blind diabetics Subject: GOT A Q FOR YOU GUYS.
