A friend of mine uses some compression stockings which are velcroed on.

She is in her mid seventies and the velcro sure makes it a whole lot easier

to get them on and off.

It also eliminates the need for various size stockings as they fit a wide

variety of leg thicknesses.

I had compression stockings but my doctor made out a prescription with the

compression required and the length he thought would work best. everyone is

different and he should give more guideance. these were custom made as

everyone has a different shape and they cost about one hundred and twenty

dollars. my husband had the same need and his cost one hundred dollars.

another thing when you are sitting elevate your feet and legs to prevent

swelling. karen

MY DOC SAYS FOR ME TO GET ME SOME SUPPORT HOSE TO HELP THE CIRCULATION IN MY

LEGS AND TO CUT DOWN ON THE CRAMPS. I WENT AND FOUND LOTS OF THESE SUPPORT

HOSE ON LINE, BUT HAVE NO CLUE WHAT KIND I NEED. LIKE KNEE HIGH OR HIGHER,

OPEN TOE OR CLOSED, WHAT COMPRESSION LIKE, 8-15, 15-20, 20-30. THE VAINS IN

MY LEGS ARE PRETTY BAD. THE PAIN SO FAR ISN'T THAT BAD THAT I CAN'T HANDLE

IT, BUT THE CRAMPS IN MY LEGS AND FEET ARE BAD WHEN THEY COME TO HANG OUT. I

SEE THESE SUPPORT HOSE ARE AROUND $25 A PARE AND I HATE TO BUY THE WRONG

ONE'S AND NOT BE THE RIGHT ONE'S. I KNOW SOME OF YOU WILL KNOW WHICH ONE'S

SHOULD WORK THE BEST. THANKS FOR ALL THE ADVICE.
