Yep, Cy is right, and I will be glad to help him in the field goal

department. You most likely need to be on long-acting insulin like Lantus

and bolus insulin like Humalog, but if you are determined to lower your

glucose levels on diet and exercise alone, then you need to start eating all

the eggs you can handle. I hope you like fried eggs, scrambled eggs and

boiled eggs. Each egg contains plenty of nutrition, and you can probably

survive a very long time on just eating boiled eggs alone. The egg contains

hardly any carbs to talk about maybe one carb per egg. No bread at all on

this diet. To spice up things have a cucumber or some pickles. Maybe you

would prefer munching on some raw lettuce or raw cabbage. If you get

desperate for something more filling, then maybe a hunk of cheese will do.

After all cheese is low in carb content as well. Then if your glucose level

is 250 or there abouts, take a thirty minute walk. This will lower your

glucose level by 50 or sisty points, but the only way you can tell is by

using your best friend to help you, the glucose monitor. ly, I am lazy

and prefer injecting insulin with a syringe. The diet and exercise will not

work in the short run, but it will help a lot. The only way to know for sure

whether or not you are now an insulin dependent diabetic is to have a

C-peptide test. If your pancreas has given up the job of producing insulin,

then this test will tell the story. If you have medicare and or insurance,

the insulin should be covered with a co-pay of a minimal amount. Good luck

WELL LOOKS AS IF I'M A LUCKY MAN. I LOVE EGGS MADE ANY WAY YOU CAN MAKE

THEM. MILK HOW EVER WILL BE HARD TO GIVE UP. I SEE ONLY 8 OUNCES OF MILK HAS 13

CARBS. WHO EVER DRINKS ONLY 8 OUNCES OF MILK? I DO LIKE TO EAT RAW OATS, BUT YOU

GOT TO USE MILK ON THEM AND THIS IS A BAD THING. I THINK GIVING UP MILK WILL

HELP A LOT.
