Guest guest
Sorry to non-US members! This topic won't be of any benefit to you. This is the 4th year I think, that I've discussed with my agent, and changed my Medicare plan, and in particular, my part-D or prescription drug plan. I thought I'd post this as a reminder, but also to trigger some discussion in case it might be helpful. The plans change every year, so if you haven't re-examined your plan, you'll want to do that. And, my agent tells me, put your seat belts on, because next year will see even more changes! I will be meeting with my agent some time in the coming weeks (we have until December 31) and this year, I may be looking at a Medicare 0 premium plan, but adding separate policies for both hospitalization and cancer coverage. She tells me, it looks like I can do this, with the 0 premium plan, for less money, and get a whole lot more coverage. But that doesn't mean you will. This is why you need to, IMO, sit with a professional who knows insurance, and specifically, the Medicare program, and go through different scenarios. It takes some time, but it may be well worth it. If you have some helpful tips or advice, please pass it on to us!
