Hello Rogene ~

I am so sorry it is so overwhelming,

you know you have been through so much

this last 6 months. Lots of changes and

decisions on top of it all. God Bless YOU !

Do you ever sketch? That you could do

while sitting in your favorite chair.

I have done some when I dont feel well

and dont feel like doing much, but have the

need to have my mind occupied.

Sending you lots of love and healing

energy !

Hello Rogene ~

It is so easy to get into the depths of

thinking about illness way too much, especially

when you feel so badly, or have current and/or

new challenges you are facing.

I am wondering if stripping deck furniture

would be too "chemically" for your body to deal

with right now, and overload you. Just a thought.

You are incredibly talented. Have you worked

any more on your old man ? I love that pic.

I hope you have a good day ! !

Sending you lots of love and prayers !

Dede

Thanks Dede . . . My job now is to get out of my chair and get busy! . . . I'm really feeling pretty good. Just need to break some of these lazy habits I've gotten used to! . . . If I knew this cool weather would hang on, I'd start stripping more deck furniture! . . . I need to get a project going! . . . I've got plenty of things I could do.Someone gave me a copy of "The Secret" some time ago that I just got around to watching yesterday. . Powerful stuff! . . . I've fallen into the habit of thinking about illness much of the time. . . . That's got to change so I can get 100% healthy - and soon!Love,Rogene

Dear Rogene,

Sounds so hard! But if anyone can get through this, you can!

When I was really sick with implants and couldn't do any more than

sit on the couch, I used to listen to books on tape and archived

radio shows of This American Life. Have you ever listened to that

show on NPR? You can find their archived shows here:

http://www.thislife.org/Radio_Archive.aspx

The stories are all different, but many of them are touching, funny

and uplifting. They might help you as you heal.

for radiation. . . Next appointment is next Wednesday for an x-ray

and marking of the mask. . . I don't think they will start radiation

that day . . but maybe! It will be every day for 6-7 weeks. In this

case, slower is better.

I love NPR . . . but never heard of this show . . . It must not play here. . . These stories look interesting to listen to, regardless of what one is doing. . . Thanks,Rogene
