I am certain that many prayers will go up for Phyllis, your Mom, you can count on mine. A year ago I almost lost both of my parents and everyone was so wonderful to offer their prayers, Both recovered miraculously and I believe all the prayers were part of the reason I still have them both.

I will pray for you too, I know how painful it can be to see your family suffer.

Your sister is in my prayers, you all are ! What is her first name? I am glad they are working quickly on this with her. I will give her name to my father, and he will add her in the prayers at his church, if that is ok with you.

When it rains, it pours. I do 7:30 prayers with candles on wednesday nights, just an extra prayer for everyone that is more celebrated by lighting candles, makes it special... Keep us posted !

My sister was just diagnosed with an ovarian cyst

and they are doing an ultrasound. Darn, it seems to be a bad time for health.

I know you are scared Lynn. And you know what?

That's okay.

To me, my uterine cancer is something that was in the

past. I think of now as an experience that I can help

other people through.

Your sister hasn't been diagnosed with anything yet

and that's good. They are going to take care of the

problem on Tuesday and that's even better.

My biggest symptom was hemmoraghing (sp) everytime

time I had my period.

I'm glad your sister has you.

My sister's name is Collie, short for

Columbine. She lives in Hawaii. I think that

would be a horrible diagnosis for anyone. Bob's

wife died from that. That was some years

back. But, they can do a lot more for most

cancers these days. I just hope my sister's is

benign also, any other thought is just too much to deal with.

I will definitely pray for your sister and you and her two kids.

Hang in there. I know it's tough waiting for results and worrying

about What If?. I read a quote a long time ago that said " Worrying

is as effective as chewing bubblegum. " So I know it's hard

sometimes, but try to put your worry at ease, because really, what

good does it do? It just adds unnecessary stress and no one

benefits. Instead, try to think positive and trust in God that

everything will be ok. I'll do the same regarding her situation and

I guess I fall under the having surgery category.

My Husband and Godson took me to see the horses

tonight. The pictures I posted earlier tonight are

from then.

We'll all lean on each other and we'll all get each

other through this.

My riding coach told me today that even though I ride

for at least 4 weeks, I can come out anytime and hug

the horses.

The way I look at our trials and struggles is this is

the experience that makes us stronger and better

people.

Thank you PH... I am so blessed to have all my saline support sisters. You are right, I don't have good enough health to afford extra stress. I will think positive because that is what my sister needs right now. I will share with my sister all the support and prayers she is receiving.

responded. I think Gail and Collie need that right now.

Hopefully both will be fine. It is tough for

families also, but imagine what it is like for

those who are going through this.

I had cancer in 1990, so I do know what they are

going through. It is a frightening experience.

Lynn, We'll be praying for your sis for sure . . If you can, see if you have the type of radiation therapy available they use for Mammosite radiation therapy for the breast. They insert a ballon in the cavity, run a wire with nodes that emit a high dose of radiation for ten minutes, then send you on your way for five hours when they repeat it.
