Guest guest
That's not a horrible A1C, but it could be lower. Readings in the 130-140 range might well result in a 6.4 A1C. You could try doing more checks, such as times you don't normally check. Try in the middle of the night, and some other time of the day you don't normally check. For the past couple months my morning blood sugar readings are high sometimes as high as 140 sometimes right around 100 most often around 120 130. My after meal readings which I do twice a day are usually between 115 130 or lower. I just had lab work done and my a1c is 6.4. My doctor has no idea what's causing it to be high and neither does my friend who 's a nurse so I thought I'd come here and ask.

Guest guest
I'm a T1, I don't know if that makes a difference but I was doing the same thing. They increased my insulin which just put me too low other times. Then a Naturalist said vinegar, so I tried it, successfully. AND, this made a huge difference for me, s Hopkins put out an email that also said vinegar once a day could help morning blood sugar. So I still do it, still wake up pretty good. Not always perfect, depending on what I had the night before, but way better than it was. I take a tablespoon in water with stevia. > > Ok, so for those who don't know me I'm a type 2 have been for 2 and a half years or there abouts. > For the past couple months my morning blood sugar readings are high sometimes as high as 140 sometimes right around 100 most often around 120 130.
