Hey. I feel the same way. I just can't stop eating and I keep getting bigger and bigger. No matter how hard I try not to eat when I'm not hungry, I do anyway. It is a constant struggle. I hope things get better for you.RainaSent from my iPhone

Since last night, I have been engaging in excessive eating (well I should say binge) and I can't stop:

After 9 pm I had:

a whole box of 100 calories nabisco cookies

2 slices of bread and cream cheese

1 slice of bread and peanut butter

A small bowl of cereal and milk

Crackers

More cereal

Cheese

and the list probably goes on

I know I need to breathe in and relax..but it is so hard to stop

Geneen says that if we are getting bigger & bigger when we do IE that means that

we are eating for emotional reasons and NOT because we are hungry. She said

that there might be an initial period where we gain some weight because we are

rebelling against years of deprivation BUT if it continues on past a couple of

weeks then it is NOT about the food BUT about the emotional cause for the need

for food.

Yesterday i discovered a good book & website by a psychiatrist who specializes

in eating disorders it is called Shrink Yourself. There is a lot of information

on his site, questionaires & a really informative blog. I ordered the book

yesterday & if I like what I read I am going to do the online sessions.

good luck & remember that you are WORTH it!!!!!
