Guest guest
Sandy, You can lead a horse to water but you cant make them drink it. I would say, she should follow her gut instinct....If she feels wary about no drains, then, she should insist on them. I talk with Dr. Feng and I'm going to hold off and get the surgery here in CT. She said the surgery with drains would be worse because of my past health history. Hope you are feeling okay keep me posted. Much love to you and all of your friends that helped me.
Guest guest
Sandy,I'm sure you can find a way to tell her that Dr. Kolb explants the sickest ladies around. She always uses drains. I think one of our ladies stayed in Atlanta for a couple weeks because she had so much drainage. She would have been in a world of hurt if all that gunk had gone into her chest instead of those drains. I wouldn't trust a doctor who said they wouldn't use drains for that reason. . . True, they may not be needed. But they're a very simple precaution to take against further problems.I had two drains with my recent surgery . . . one in my neck and another in my side. I was happy to have them.Hugs,Rogene
