Yes. I was diagnosed at 29 but had it for at least 9 years before

that. The first doctor tested for rheumatoid arthritis and found

nothing and nastily told me to come back if I was really sick.

Thankfully I found a specialist in fibro at 29.

I believe that one reason I was afflicted is years of stuffing down my

feelings and years of hypervigilance keeping my nerves jangling and

muscles tense.

Not sure where you live, but have you been tested for Lyme Disease? I have a

good friend who was diagnosed with " either/of " Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or

Fibromyalgia. She was put on the newest and greatest drugs of the day. Turns out

she had Lyme. Lyme can have neurological symptoms too.
